Estradiol gel for menopause

Divigel (estradiol gel) 0.1% is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause, and comes in formulations of 0.25, 0.5, and 1 mg. The 0.25-mg formulation of Divigel is the lowest approved dose of estradiol available. A smaller volume of gel can be applied to a smaller area than with any other gel or lotion estrogen product available for this indication. Once-a-day, individual-use foil packets ensure accurate dosing for the treatment of hot flashes
